Our company is currently upgrading all of our Internet Explorer browsers to IE 11, via a managed software policy. We currently have an automated installation, and give the user up to 24 hours to defer the reboot to there machine once the installation has completed. At first we did not enforce rebooting the machine after a the installation, but we saw extrememly low compliance numbers since because the update does require a reboot to complete installation. Once we began requiring a restart after installation, our compliance numbers drastically increased. The issue we started running into though, was that if a user missed the 5 minute window to postpone a reboot, it would automatically reboot there machine. I was thinking it may be nice to edit how long a user has to respond to the prompt before it will automatically restart their machine.
