Prepare For Linux Capture Task Error

Hi,

I'm looking for some assistance with imaging Centos servers using Symantec/Altiris Deployment Solution 7.5.

As I understand it, the task "Prepare for Linux Image capture" should perform a similar function to Windows 'sysprep', ie ensure that hardware-specific details of the source server are not re-deployed to the new target server (MAC addresses etc)

When I attempt to run the task on a remote server from the management console (Windows 2012) I get:

Error Message: Task XML is not correctly formed value=0, error=0

To summarise:

What exactly does this task attempt to do?

Why doesn't it work on Centos (6) servers?
